I know of many Deviants here who've either left or stopped uploading artwork because of idiots who stole their work online. It's a sad side effect of the accessibility of the internet - incredibly wide audience, but easy to copy. IMO the best way to deal with this is watermark/sign your website on there, and use it for publicity. But of course this doesn't work in all cases. A few days ago dA removed the "Advanced Critique" option for non-subscribers. I can understand their reasons... people tend to upload lots of work without sharing knowledge or advice with others. And why not add another reason to pay. I'm not exempt, but I make an honest attempt to provide helpful feedback. I was tempted to edit all my photo descriptions and ask for suggestions... but nah. So just so everyone knows, I'm always open to constructive criticism on my photos, it will always be appreciated. Thanks!
